Period of activities of the event “Christmas Town“ of the program “Christmas in Vilnius 2019“:

Planned hours of trading (work) at “Christmas Town“*:
Monday – from 12.00 to 21.00;
Tuesday-Thursday – from 11.00 to 21.00
Friday-Saturday – from 11.00 to 22.30
Sunday – from 11.00 to 21.00
24 December – from 11.00 to 18.00
25 December – from 12.00 to 22.00
26 December – from 12.00 to 22.00
31 December – from 12.00 to 24.00
Please note that when submitting your application and offering products (goods) that would be traded in “Christmas Town“, you should take into account the following:
- Trading on a vehicle (trailer) does not match the set concept of the event “Christmas Town“, also taking into account the fact that working vehicles in pedestrian zones endanger visitors;
- When offering trade in food products, it is important to evaluate whether the smell of the food you produce (produced) will not interfere with the atmosphere of the event’s visitors and the overall Christmas event, will not drown the smell of products produced by other traders; this is particularly relevant for products (goods) that may have volatile and/or unusual and/or sharp smell (such as roasted potatoes, seafood, etc.);
- There should be either (optional) food and food products or souvenirs (interior fittings, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, wool products, etc.) trading at one trading venue, as well as this should be done in order to ensure the smooth flow and servicing of interested persons;
- Taking into account the limited possibilities of using and distributing electricity in the territory of the “Christmas Town“, people offering food production are advised to decide on one basic food product (others should be in the process of reconciling or supplementing the main food product).
Due to the limited number of places in the “Christmas Town“ and in accordance with the provisions of creating a list of traders of the event “Christmas Town“ of the program “Christmas in Vilnius 2019“, the participants will be selected by a specially formed commission for creating a list of traders. We will notify the decision taken by the commission by e-mail specified in the application until 16 September 2019. Selected participants will be contacted personally and further terms of trade will be coordinated.
The cost of trading venues in the “Christmas Town” will vary depending on the range of trader’s products (goods). Additional information on this is provided by calling the telephone numbers below.
The information provided by the applicant and the data on the trader will be collected, stored and used for the purposes of the application evaluation, the selection of traders, the organization of the “Christmas Town“. Submitting an application means that the applicant (the trader he represents) agrees to this.
