“CRIB OF HOMELESS + C + M + B + 2018”
In the yard of the Holy Cross house
(L. Stuokos-Gucevičiaus str.)
3 December, 2017  – 7 January, 2018

A native scene (also known as a crib) is the special exhibition, particularly during the Christmas season, representing the birth of Jesus, in which real humans and animals participate. Nativity scenes exhibit figures representing the infant Jesus, his mother, Mary, and her husband, Joseph.

The Crib of homeless is an attempt to imagine the birth of the Son of God in the world today and draw the attention of the inhabitants and guests of the city to the actual interpretation of the birth of Christ, to promote the perception of the reality of social poverty and to contribute to the aid of those who do not have asylum.
